Our commitment to players.

UMURO GAME (“we”, “us” or “our”) develops games for mobile and other platforms. This policy explains our approach to personal information in our games, on umuro.net and when you contact us. The information involved may differ from one game to another because features, platforms and integrated services differ.

We aim to use information only for the purposes described here, protect it appropriately and give you a way to ask questions or exercise your rights. A platform or third-party service may also have its own privacy policy when you use its features.

Information we process.

Depending on the game or service you use, information may include:

• Information you provide: your name, email address and message when you contact us, request support or submit a form.
• Game and technical information: gameplay events, app version, operating system, device details, language settings, crash reports and diagnostics used for analytics, troubleshooting and improving our games. Depending on the game, this may include progress information and approximate location inferred from IP address.
• Identifiers and advertising information: device or advertising identifiers and ad interaction data used to show, measure and limit ads, subject to applicable platform settings and consent requirements.
• Website information: cookies and similar technologies, browser information and interaction data when you use our website, where those technologies are in use.

Some information is given to us directly; other information is generated automatically by your device, the game, the website or an integrated service. The exact information can vary by title, platform and enabled features.

How we use information.

We use relevant information to operate and maintain games, provide support, investigate crashes and other errors, analyze how games are used, understand performance, improve gameplay, display and measure advertising, protect our services from abuse and meet legal obligations. Depending on a game's features, information may also support saved progress or other in-game functions. Advertising uses are subject to your choices and applicable law.

Sharing and service providers.

Information may be processed by the platform through which you obtain a game and by providers that support advertising, analytics and crash reporting in our games. Other providers may support hosting or customer service where relevant. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect users or services, or as part of a lawful business transfer. We expect service providers handling information on our behalf to protect it and use it only for authorized purposes.

App stores, payment providers, ad networks and other independent services may process information under their own privacy policies. Their practices are not controlled by this policy.

Your choices and rights.

You can use your device or platform settings to control permissions, notifications and advertising preferences where available. You can also contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. The rights available to you depend on your location and applicable law.

For a privacy or deletion request, email me@umuro.net and tell us which game or service is involved. We may need enough information to identify the relevant records and verify your request. If information is held by a platform or another independent provider, you may also need to contact that provider directly.

Children's privacy.

We recognize that children need additional privacy protection. Where a game is intended for children, its data practices and any advertising or third-party services must follow the applicable age-specific rules and platform requirements. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, please contact me@umuro.net so we can review the concern.

Security and retention.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including support, operation, legal compliance, dispute resolution and security. Retention periods can vary by data type and service. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it non-identifying where practicable.

Changes to this policy.

We may update this policy as our games, technologies or legal obligations change. The latest version will appear on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate in-game or website notice.
